Lot Closure during the 2026 Fur Rondy Event
Anchorage, AK - The Chinook parking lot (corner of 3rd Ave. & E St.) will be closed from midnight Wednesday, February 18, 2026, until Sunday, March 8, 2026, to accommodate the Fur Rendezvous Carnival event.
If you possess a monthly 3rd Avenue parking permit (Chinook), we will honor your parking permit at the Coho parking lot (if available) while the Chinook parking lot is closed.
Another parking option for the 3rd Avenue parkers (Chinook & Coho) is to park at the 5th & B Street parking garage from February 18, 2026, until Sunday, March 8, 2026. Permit parkers must take a garage ticket to enter and then show their permit to exit by calling 907-297-4471 or pushing the call for help button.
