Downtown Anchorage Gears Up for Trick or Treat Street — October 25, 12–4 PM
EasyPark and 5th Avenue Mall partner to offer family fun and free parking for food donations
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (October 8, 2025) — Get your costumes ready! The annual Trick or Treat Street, hosted by Anchorage Downtown Partnership, returns on Saturday, October 25, from 12 PM to 4 PM, transforming downtown Anchorage into a festive Halloween destination for families.
This year, EasyPark and the 5th Avenue Mall are teaming up to make the event even sweeter by providing two trick-or-treat stations and free validated parking in exchange for food donations.
Families can drop off three nonperishable food items to receive validated parking at either the 5th Avenue Garage or the JCPenney Garage. All donated food will benefit the Food Bank of Alaska, helping local families in need as we head into the holiday season.
Trick-or-Treat Station Locations:
• 5th Avenue Mall – 1st Floor, near JCPenney
• EasyPark 5th Avenue Garage – 1st Floor Elevator Lobby (C Street side)
“Trick or Treat Street is one of downtown’s most beloved family traditions,” said Melinda Gant, External & Community Affairs Director at EasyPark. “We’re excited to partner with the 5th Avenue Mall and Anchorage Downtown Partnership to create a safe, fun experience while also giving back to our community.”
Families are encouraged to come in costume, visit participating downtown businesses, and enjoy music, treats, and seasonal fun throughout the afternoon.
